LESCO to Discontinue Electricity Bill Payments Through Post Offices from April 1

LAHORE: Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) has announced that consumers will no longer be able to pay their electricity bills through post offices starting April 1, 2026.

The decision was taken in accordance with a resolution passed during the 309th meeting of the company’s Board of Directors, the utility confirmed.

LESCO has advised consumers to ensure timely payment of their electricity bills through alternative channels to avoid inconvenience. Customers may use QR codes, designated banks, digital banking platforms, and other authorized payment methods for bill settlement.

The company emphasized that the move is part of its efforts to streamline payment systems and promote more efficient and secure transaction methods.
